Tonight we decided to carve a pumpkin. We usually do this the night before Halloween and then put the finished pumpkin in the fridge (this keeps the cut pumpkin from wilting) till the next night. Since Alex and Lauren are too young to participate in the carving, we had them paint their pumpkins. This was actually Lauren's first time painting and she loved it! Alex always has fun painting (he has artistic talent that he must get from Mike). Here's some pictures:

Then we carved the pumpkin. Mike and I took turns carving while Alex watched (unfortunately Lauren had to go to bed). Here's some fun pictures from our carving:
